The signature chair from Bert England’s dining collection for Baker.  Identical to as shown in national advertising campaign / catalog photography.  Winner of the prestigious Daphne Award for Design.

Based in California, Bert England still designed for nearly all of the great Grand Rapids companies. This group was one of England’s later offerings, and ranged broadly from Dining Room to Bedroom to Occasional and Upholstery. These chairs are in the finish and fabric as originally displayed by Baker in their High Point, NC showroom and throughout the national catalog and advertising campaign. 

Probably floor samples from either a Knapp & Tubbs showroom or Major Dealer display.

Excellent original condition. The chairs show extremely well.
